This website

• Waitlist email. If you join the waitlist we store your email address, the plan you clicked, your platform choice, and a timestamp. It is used only to send your invite and launch updates. No marketing lists, never sold or shared.
• Anonymous counters. We count page views and section views in aggregate on our own infrastructure. No third-party analytics, no ad pixels, no cross-site tracking, no cookies for tracking.
• Removal. Email admin@alreadysearching.com and your waitlist entry is deleted.

What the app sees (by design)

• Default: clipboard only, on your signal. Out of the box the app reads your clipboard and text you type into it, nothing else.
• Everything deeper is opt-in. Reading your current selection and reading on-screen context are separate switches, each requiring the matching macOS permission, each off until you turn it on.
• You can always stop it. Pause capture entirely, exclude specific apps (your password manager, your bank), or switch pre-fetch to Manual so nothing runs without an explicit keypress.

What leaves your Mac

• To answer a question, the question and the minimal context needed to answer it are sent to search and AI model providers, then discarded by us. Provider processing is limited to producing your answer; your queries are never used to train models and never sold.
• Your answer memory, history, and settings stay on your Mac. We do not host a copy.

Your memory is yours

• Saved answers live in a local database on your Mac. Delete any answer, any range, or everything, and it is gone.
• Export is built in: your memory can leave in a portable format whenever you want.

Team plans

• Sharing is opt-in per answer. Nothing is shared by default, and private memory never syncs.
• An answer you share to team memory carries your name and date and can be unshared by you or an admin.
